What we collect and why
Analytics (with consent)
If you accept cookies, we collect anonymous page-view and interaction data — including the page visited, referrer, browser type, and approximate country — using Vercel Analytics. This data does not identify you personally and is never sold or shared. Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Decline" at the bottom of any page.
Interaction analysis
We use ContentSquare to understand how visitors interact with the site. This tool collects interaction data anonymously. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving the site's usability and performance (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server request logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard web server logs — including IP addresses, user agents, and request timestamps — for security and reliability purposes. These logs are retained for a short period in line with Vercel's standard data retention practices and are not used to profile individual visitors. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Bot and scraper detection
This site uses a honeypot mechanism to detect automated scraping. If triggered, the requesting IP address and user agent are logged. This data is used solely to protect the integrity of the site and is not linked to real visitors. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Third-party processors
We use Vercel Inc. (USA) to host this site and provide analytics, and ContentSquare (France) to understand user interaction. Both provide an adequate level of data protection. See their respective privacy policies for more details.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking cookies. If you accept analytics, your preference is stored in your browser's local storage (key: analytics_consent). This is a functional preference record — it contains no personal data and is never sent to a server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email pasta@allanorma.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
